A quaint city just a few miles from Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral is part of a region known as Space Coast. It is the site of the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (the Kennedy Space Center is on adjacent Merritt Island), where many U.S. spacecraft have been launched.

Guests love visiting Port Canaveral (one of the busiest ports in the world), as well as the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse. The historic lighthouse was established in 1848 and is now managed by the U.S. Air Force.
